His clinical interests are antiviral therapy, the immune response to herpesvirus infections and vaccine science. A key member of the research teams that studied Zostavax, a live, attenuated varicella zoster virus vaccine, he discusses
some of the important aspects of the vaccine’s efficacy and safety.
